Padrón 1926 Series No. 2 Maduro cigars offer one of the richest expressions in the Padrón portfolio, presented in a box pressed 5 1/2 x 52 Belicoso format. Created to honour José O. Padrón’s 75th birthday, this full bodied Nicaraguan puro features a dark Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper with five year aged Nicaraguan binder and long filler tobaccos.

The dark, oily Maduro wrapper brings deep notes of dark chocolate, espresso, black cherry and natural sweetness. Aged Nicaraguan tobaccos provide a powerful core of earth, leather, roasted coffee and cedar, while the tapered Belicoso head concentrates the smoke and allows a precise cut. The cigar’s wide ring gauge gives the profile a dense, creamy texture that balances its peppery spice and impressive strength.

The cigar opens with dark cocoa, toasted oak and black pepper before developing espresso, earth, leather and roasted nuts. A creamy nougat sweetness appears through the middle alongside black tea and black cherry, followed by a long finish of charred coffee, dark chocolate, cedar and fresh pepper. Padrón 1926 Series No. 2 Maduro pairs especially well with espresso, aged rum, bourbon, tawny port or a rich single malt Scotch whisky.
