La Galera Habano Chaveta Robusto cigars bring a copper coloured Ecuadorian Habano wrapper to a balanced, aromatic Dominican blend. Handcrafted by José “Jochy” Blanco at Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic, this medium to full bodied 5 x 50 Robusto features a Dominican Corojo binder and Dominican Piloto Cubano, Criollo ’98 and rare Pelo de Oro long fillers.

The Ecuadorian Habano wrapper provides warm cedar, roasted coffee, caramel and peppery spice. Dominican Corojo binder adds structure and aromatic depth, while Piloto Cubano, Criollo ’98 and Pelo de Oro fillers create a rich core of leather, toasted wood, earth and natural sweetness. The result is a well balanced Robusto that begins with lively spice and gradually reveals a smoother, creamier character.

The cigar opens with toasted wood, white pepper, leather and mineral notes before developing cedar, coffee, caramel and roasted nuts. As the smoke progresses, cream and vanilla soften the pepper and add a rounder texture, while gentle earth and sweetness remain in the background. The finish is smooth and savoury, with cedar, leather, caramel and a touch of fresh pepper. La Galera Habano Chaveta Robusto pairs well with espresso, aged rum, bourbon, an amber ale or a medium bodied red wine.
